African Shea Butter

Shea butter is the base ingredient in all our soaps. A pale yellow, raw Shea butter is made from the seed of the Karite nut of the Shea tree. It is popularly known as “ women’s gold” in Africa where it is primarily gathered by the women who are engaged in the delicate process of creating this butter . Used for cellular renewal, it repairs the hydrolipidic layer of the cells thereby softening and soothing the skin. Safe for use on children, it has remarkable results on stretch marks, sunburns, razor burns, cracked heels, rough elbows and knees, eczema, psoriasis, wrinkles and chemically burned skin. Ours is unrefined and raw.
