Our 100% pure Balsamic Cream (which is called "Balsamic Glaze" in the US) is made of cooked grape must only, which aged in oak barrels for 18 months. 0,5% carob extract (a completely natural product) is added to give it a viscous texture, and that is the BIG difference to most of the Balsamic Glazes on the markets: Our Balsamic Cream is free from any artificial or harmful additives such as sugar, cornstarch, glucose, caramel or food coloring!
It is great to flavor and to decorate red and white meat, fish, cheese, risotto, tomato-mozzarella (insalata caprese) or soups. It can also be used as a salad dressing, and it is a special topping for fruits like strawberries or melon, ice cream or chocolate cake.
